Team Haverhill and the Eagle-Tribune will co-sponsor two other debates—one for school committee candidates on September 30 at City Hall, and a final debate for mayoral candidates on October 28 at the Technology Center. A debate for City Council candidates will be sponsored by the Greater Haverhill Chapter of the League of Women Voters and Haverhill Gazette on Thursday, September 10, at 6:30 pm at the Haverhill Library's main auditorium. So, for your calendar:

* Mayoral—Wed., Sept. 9
* City Council—Thurs., Sept. 10
* School Committee—Wed., Sept. 30
* Final Mayoral-- Wed., Oct. 28

Building on our 2007 success, we will once again co-sponsor Mayoral Forums in 2009, designed to help the public consider key issues as they prepare to vote for Mayor and City Councilors.
